My Disco 1 kills its battery completely within 1 week even though when I test the drain with an ammeter it only draws 0.05 amps. That level of drain seems to be an ok level from what I've read on other threads so if that's the case there must be an intermittent higher drain. Any ideas of the likely culprit? I do also have water ingress at the front passenger side upper corner of the windscreen. I'm assuming it's coming in from there coz the headlining is wettest there.
In addition it keeps blowing MFUs. If I replace one it will work for a few days then it pops. I know it's the MFU that's popped coz I lose all the usual stuff like courtesy lights, fog lights, rear demist & wipe, etc. and the MFU test (holding in the demist button for 2 seconds while turning the ignition on) gives me no beeps.
It's due it's MOT so I need to crack these probs and any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
