First hello to everyone,
since two weeks I own a RR 4.0 SE and have the following problem
when driving in town and standing sometime in front of the traffic light
the temperature sometimes rise up to the last white stripe on the right of
the temperature gauge. When driving the temperature goes down to normal.
A few days ago I changed the temperature sensor and today the termostate
but the problem still remain. After the first run after the termostat changing
temperature was normal then on the second run it rises up.
Some thing I noticed are top hose will blow up when engine is cold and
I increase engine speed. When engine is hot top hose is not hard but soft. I did not notice any loss of water. Another problem is increased fuel consumption
it is at the moment around 32 liter per 100 Km.
May be someone has an idea what are wrong.
