sadly she has to go.
epsom green 95 disco V8, only 110,000 miles
was running when i parked it on my drive 6 months ago, probably needs a new battery now (might charge up)
retired her due to getting a TD5 for work vehicle as cheaper to run (that was the theory anyway- head gasket, cracked head blah, blah- would have been cheaper to keep running the V8!!)
anyway, i would prefer to sell as a whole, solid chassis, professionally undersealed at some point in its life and has done the job admirably. bodywork in good condition- never had an advisory for rust, though i think one of the inner arches might need attention.
its been sat on the drive for 6 months and is a bit mouldy inside but would clean up fine.
the only other issues i'm aware of are the usual niggles- sticky door locks, standard issue leaky sunroofs and prop shaft u/j needs replacing
i've been reluctant to break it as i think it would make an excellent basis for an off roader project. i hoped to do it myself but haven't got the time and to be fair, i cant afford to keep 3 discos on the road (or on the drive as the wife keeps reminding me....) i've also got a huge bill for the TD5 coming so i need every penny.....
i dont want much for her but we all know what they are worth in bits,
