95 300tdi Engine Fan removal

Several guys on here advocated removing the engine fan altogether rather then fitting a Kenlowe unit, so after fitting a new water pump I decided to leave the fan in the boot, done 500 mile since, town and motorway driving and the temp gauge stayed exactly the same, middle of normal the fan unit is quite a lump for the engine to be spinning all the time, so hoping to get a few more MPG as well

less air resistance=less resistance on engine= more mpg i will be doing this to mine when i do cambelt and water pump,and replacing with shiny electric fan just incase
