Several guys on here advocated removing the engine fan altogether rather then fitting a Kenlowe unit, so after fitting a new water pump I decided to leave the fan in the boot, done 500 mile since, town and motorway driving and the temp gauge stayed exactly the same, middle of normal :) the fan unit is quite a lump for the engine to be spinning all the time, so hoping to get a few more MPG as well

less air resistance=less resistance on engine= more mpg ;) i will be doing this to mine when i do cambelt and water pump, and replacing with shiny electric fan just incase ;)
