Well this is her when I got her mid summer. The photo is off the eBay advert and very flattering.

Here she is now wth private plate. After using her for a couple of months I decided to remove the roof and tub to do some chassis and body repairsimage.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Here is a few pics of the work I have done. My initial plan was a couple of days work and she'll be back on the road. It's ended up as a minor resto . To be honest I'm glad I didn't put this job off to next year, as most bits have been repairable, another year or two and I would have some serious problems. This is a keeper so worth the time and effort, plan to re chassis her eventually.

Looks like you went the hole hog on your Landy nice work, did you build it on a new galv chassis? I'd like to do that eventually, hopefully I'll get at least 5 years out of my chassis. I did quite a few weld repairs but to a good standard, no patches welded over rotten holes. The area under the second row seats was the worst area. Chassis was like new in the middle. I've got the second row upstanding repair sections for the tub from YRM also.

I made those bits from 3 mm chequered plate on a folder, and yes, new galv chassis. these pics are 14 yrs old now. the pics are old fashioned photos in an album so colours look weird, it's orange not red.
