i'm having a braking problem with my rangie, the red brake light came on and i got a sound from under the bonnet that i'm assuming is the ABS pump (sounded like the cat screaming) when i've come to slow down i'm putting my foot down and nothing... well very very little, not enough to be considered braking, pumping the brakes and slow driving got me home that night
now i went to check the brake fluid and saw it was empty, so i went and filled up... brakes were working fine, then all of a sudden the same fault so home i go on the back of an AA truck.
i've read elsewhere that it could be the ABS pump, and that i can just have it removed (the whole abs system i mean), i'm hoping it's something as easy as that...
any ideas.. or advice?!
