90 V8 rebuild list

Evening Guys,

I'm being a little lazy. I've got a 90 V8, D reg which I'm going to rebuild from the ground up.

Has anyone kept a list of all the parts that they used on such a rebuild? I have built a car and know that the most annoying things on the weekends set aside for building is all the little bits that you need.

How long is a piece of string?

you might just want to change the suspension rubbers, brake pipes and give it a lick of paint,

OR, you might want to change every bolt,nut & washer and little plastic trim clip...

depends on how far you want to go really.

Best bet, is download microcat (it's on this forum) then you can print off your own shopping lists (with prices) and really scare yourself!

but with MC, you can look and say to yourself "ah, i didn't realise that A needs B to fit it etc etc" so can order all the little fiddly parts.

I realise its an open question!

I'm probably going to go down the latter route and it will cost me far more money than I have got / than it should do!!

I have the workshop manuals - they do give a list of parts but was just wondering if people had a list of bits that they actually used.
