90 temp gauge

Hi, Mine just been done this week and i think the boys fitted a new sender, it looks brand new....

Yes I meant sender. Basically, the gauge is the same on them all, you put the right sender in and away you go. The TD sender will fit many 200tdi's (earlyer ones) it is listed as the same part no, if it doesn't fir they just tap it or buy one to fit.

There is never any point in swapping gauges as they are all the same.

In one line: I would advice anyone simply buy the DEFENDER version of the sender for the given engine and that will always suit the gauge.

gauge out of a 200 engined 110/90 off ebay tend to sell for less than a fiver = perfect match and no wondering what thread your block will have as you keep the original sender

I realise this thread refers to prices for January 2010, but I cannot find price for temperature gauges anywhere near this low.

Do anyone know where I would be able to pick up a reasonably priced 200tdi defender temp gauge? The cheapest I seem to be able to find is more in the region of £40.
