Hi guys, need some expert advise! Have strapped a disco 1 rear axle on my '84 model 90. The pressure sensing valve is the original G one apparently for the drum brakes. Can I use the disco valve instead? This would mean I'd have to run primary circuit for rear and left front and secondary for the right front. Is this how 300 discos/def are plumbed? And is it a good idea to plumb this way. Cheers

I have put a disco rear axle in my 84 ninety. Using the standard pressure regulator thing and it works fine.

If you do put the disco one in, put the disco servo and master cylinder in too.. Then you have independent front left and right. And a separate line for the rear

Thanks mr pdude, from what I can gather most just leave it as is. Used the disco master and booster on my classic which had Toyota brakes on it. Thinking of putting those now on the 90 as it now has a 3.9 v8 auto and some descent brakes would be welcome. Thanks again.

I used the entire braking system (inc limiter valve ) when I fitted my 300tdi auto into 90 as i was using disco axles as well . (Not including pipe work:rolleyes: :))
