A while back I went offroad with my 90 and after leaving the gounds I noticed the car pulling to one side. It never did that!

I had a look under the car and noticed that mud was trapped in the brake caliper. I was able to remove a piece that got stuck between the brakepad and the brakedisk. It turned all hard and glass-like.

After removing it, the car pulled a lot less.

Today i took out the brakepads and some more mud was stuck in there. I removed it and cleaned the grove in the brakepad.

The car still pulls to one side and for some reason the brakepad and disk seem to stay greasy on one side. Even though i cleaned it with brake-cleaner.

What could be wrong?!

i recently had the same problem,my swivell was leaking n/side an blowing onto the wheel and disc contaminating the pads so every time i braked it pulled to the off/side.

I will check the swivell seals but I think these are ok.

I might just start with changing the pads, these might have been to hot. Also try to degrease the disk again.

And I will see if the pistons move freely.

As has been said will be the brakes, also check for bulging brake hoses and leaking seals, get someone to pump the brakes whilst you check the connections and Flexi hoses

We have Gen Land Rover Brake cleaner on special offer cheap at the moment ;) and as has been said, it's probably leaking from a swivel seal if it's greasy, you may also be too mean with the brake cleaner so give it a good dousing and wipe off with paper towels or a clean rag and keep going until clean. If the pads have a glassy looking surface they may be knackered from being contaminated with oil of just overheated if they have a slighlty glassy look to them. Worth checking that your pistons move in and our freely and evenly while you're there.

I had the same problem. An oil seal had gone on the front axle causing oil to drip onto the disc. Plus the rear brake adjusters had seized causing one wheel to lock up before the other. It wore my tyre down. Had to strip, clean and adjust.

Check your track rods and go get the tracking checked formfrenat your local ATS also check your pad and clippers since you went off reading for anything gettin in there

pistons in one side of one of my callipers was seized solid, thats why mine was pulling to one side under braking, i could see as that side of the disc was more rusty, i now have 8 shiny new pistons to go in, if i stop breaking the stupid dust rings lol
