does anyone know where i can find the plastic instrument panel fixing that the cluster fixes too? ive looked everywhere and cant find one

If it is the binnacle mount that you are after I recommend the Raptor one.
The OE item (MTC2808 approx. £45) gets brittle with age and the Raptor item (£44.50) is much better and will outlast the OE one by years.
I had one of the very first ones available and have found it excellent. It's not a piece of bling, it just sits behind the binnacle and does its job without any fuss.
If you want to go the whole hog, replace the fragile binnacle with a Raptor item as well. I badgered them for years to make one and was really pleased when it came onto the market (despite having just bought a genuine replacement). Looks totally OE yet once again, will outlast by years.
