how are people routing the hose from turbo inlet to air filter on a 90 with 200tdi, the one I have recently purchased is shoddy and rubbing , possibly a half flattened steel pipe? Would be better ?

To me it looks like you need a longer fan belt which would allow for the alternator to swing up
giving you more clearance for the pipe.

Just thought although the belt will be longer surely the bracket rail will still be in the same place, still being in the way

Maybe it will raise with angle I'll get new belts n try any way cheees

Its because you have a disco 200 in a fender.
Im sure there were retrofit kits incl the hoses on ebay?

Ive just looked, search conversion kit 200tdi, Im not saying buy the entire kit, but it will give you ideas how to sort it yourself.

Can you fit the slider bracket the other way around so the fixed end is on the alternator and the sliding end is on the power steering bracket?

I also have a disco 200tdi in my 110 but I have far more clearance than that. I used a combination of pipework to get the routing correct. I have a silicone dicovery 200tdi turbo pipe which I have cut down and joined to a section of stainless pipe.

With a disco 200 conversion like yours, I found the disco hose worked well, although I have "clocked" the turbo, which moves the outlet pipe out of the way.

Steve Parker conversion kit from FleaBay. Did it on mine as I’ve got a Disco 200tdi lump conversion too. Kit works great, you can probably assemble your own for cheaper, but it’s not a vast expense for the job to be done.

Will try and take some at lunch but it is not the easiest to see as I still have the TD air-box in the original position. The intake pipe comes out of the turbo past the alternator (disco silicone turbo pipe) and then turn 90 up (stainless pipebend) to run up the side of the air-box (in-front of the alternator) before doing a 180 turn (series 3 oil-bath flexible intake pipe) into the top of the air-box.
None of it is pretty but it works and is water tight which are the important things for me.
