Speed limit on most A roads is 60mph or are you planning on getting banned in ya 1st year of driving??:deadhorse:
Hopefully not, in the Peugeot I will have a 'Smart' box (grrrr) to bring the insurance from £1800 to £1200 on a 997cc engine. Sigh.

Funny enough, that's the one in my watch list at the moment. I would have probably gone for that, but 1. I have nowhere to put it yet, and 2. It's a naturally asthmatic diesel too - topping out at 65 mph would take YEARS to get to work
Funny enough, I haven't seen that many for under £2k though...
Just how fast do you think you can drive a defender safely? I have a 300tdi which will top 80, I have no idea how much more it will do because it all gets a bit scary at that kind of speed. I rarely exceed 60 in mine because for me that's a sensible, comfortable maximum cruising speed.
