Needed a rear wiper motor assembly for the 300tdi ninety after a rear door replacement got the original lost but didn't like the prices being asked for a replacement so plumped for one off a Disco of around the same vintage.
It's all fitted and wired in but the Disco replacement one didn't come with a wiper arm off the motor and I'm wondering if a new arm and blade for a '97 Defender will be the same fitting as the '96 Disco's tapered spline with a nut on the end.
Anyone know if there is a difference, or if the Disco's wiper arm is longer and I'll have to buy the disco one and cut and shut to compound the bodge?
