90 defender ride height

I have just replaced the front spring(s) and shocks on my 90 with standard britparts gaz replacements but now that the vehicle is on the ground it looks like its sitting too high!! Checked the springs and they seem the same height as the old ones - there is no numbers or letters on the new ones and nothing about being the right way up - maybe it's not too high but I can see a heck of a lot of the turret and spring now from the side of the vehicle - anyone had a similar experience and know anything that might have gone wrong??

Maybe your old springs were just sagged

If the new springs were the same rating then yes, it is just becasue the old springs had sagged over the years.

Hi changed mine last week using allmakes standard springs and terrain standard duty shocks it sits about 1 inch higher all round and sits level.
Would think it will settle down to normal once used a bit
