Hi guys,

My rear section needs repair/replacing, but I can't help but think I should just remove the rear box and make good with a new section (that to simplify things, exits on the drivers/OS side) of plain pipe.

My rear system looks like this >> LAND ROVER DEFENDER 90 200 TDi REAR EXHAUST SILENCER * | eBay)

Has any one done this - I can't find an example on the search.

It will be a little bit louder, which might be nice
I will need to fab a bracket from the cross member or cut and swap the original over
Exiting on the other side should avoid any tight radius bends

Not much in it £ wise either way, but I want to check I haven't missed something I later regret as I'm still new to these!

Cheers
Tom

Don't know about the exhaust - but I would avoid that seller on principle! How can it cost £11 more to send to Inverness than to Land's End...or the Gower Peninsula????:mad:

Hi, and thanks

I don't know, but the ebay link was used purely to show the style of system as one of the threads I read that came up in the search raised some confusion about the configuration at the rear...

Cheers
