8274 bench test ?

Hi all

Just gave an 8274 a good make over and added a new solenoid and bow motor 2.
I have fitted the motor and wired up the solenoid to the motor, is there an easy way to bench test it backwards and forwards with out having to wire it to the truck ?

Where would I ground the motor to ? It is in a tray could I ground to this for now ?

you attach battery negative to the earth post on the winch

So I need to take 2 of the cables currently on there off, and do as pet the PDF could I use a battery boost pack to check it ? Or run some jump leads from car battery to it ? When I do I have the negative on the battery go to the earth and then just touch the red positive to f1 then f2 once I have moved the wire ?

Old, nackered 'n broke, but the Landy is fine . :)
