Hi,

I am in the process of looking for a Freelander 1 TD4 auto for my wife
and have found one without roof rails, i have read that the fixing holes are already on the vehicle and you can just bolt them on but can anyone tell me if this is also the case if the vehicle has not currently got any rails??

Also any advice on anything else to look out for would be greatly appreciated as if anything is not right it will be my fault!!!

hahaha you're a brave man asking for freelander buying advice on here :D

a few starters....drive through some puddles to check the doors don't fall off. and go over some dog turds to check the springs and shocks cope ok :p

Ask in the freelander section you'll get slightly more helpful replies (mostly) I've got a three door that didn't have roof bars, bought some off eBay, everything was there to fit them, you just need to make sure they come with the mounts!

+1 but first introduce yourself in the "introduce yourself" section ;)

She says she wants a Freelander, but she doesn't really. What she really means is that she wants is a V8 1977 101 Forward Control together with a good range of workshop equipment and a Burco kettle capable of producing 800 mugs of tea an hour.

You really must learn to interpret womenspeak.

Thanks Diesel Do for a decent /constructive answer, ok so the gay hairdresser posted
his question on the wrong bloody page!! new to this lark, you live you learn eh!
and as recommended by Freelaner I would ' introduce myself' but concerned that
doodle bug and Grimmer might actually really want to meet a gay hairdresser!!!!
