54 Plate TD5 Quessies.

Gents,
I'm about to step into the world of the TD5. I'm well versed on the 300tdi, this is new territory. I'm looking at a 54 plate, chassis looks decent, had a new clutch and starter motor and only advisory on MOT is brake pipe corrosion to monitor. No history with it, mileage is over 200 grand. Is there anything I need to look for, is this mileage too high?
All advice gratefully received.

Mileage is okay so long as it's been looked after, but you shouldn't be paying a premium price (l would expect one with over 200k to be £10-12,000)
