51 Disco Dickie seats - Where does this bit go then......

Hi All
I am in need of your expertise again...

I am installing the third row seats to my 2001 Disco 2
I purchased a "Complete Kit" from Flea bay and all appears to be going well..

Only thing is, I have been supplied with a chunk of steel that I do not know where to fit. Bonkers I know - getting more than you expected from Fleabay.

This chunk of flat steel is about 6 inches wide, about 18 inches long and has a right angle bend at the end of it. It has 4 bolts sticking out of it that are held in place by captive nuts and the opposite end to the right angle bend has 2 slots that would appear to slide behind a bolt head..
Can anyone help me with where I should be fitting this??


Kind of goes against the grain to throw away a bit left over.....
