Not sure why the dickish replies. Obviously they would seem to be oblivious to the fact there was a 50th Anniversary model, just as there was the Defender. It was a celebration of the the marque being that age, not the models FFS!!!

To the op, unless you are hugely lucky to stumble across someone selling some badges on eBay (or similar), either real ones taken off a vehicle or repro. Then the only option would be to see if you could get some commissioned. At the end of the day, the market for such badges is tiny.

Ok thanks for the reply I’ll keep looking 👍

So what happened to the three 50th anniversary badges fitted on your disco,? went missing over night 🤔.

The discretion and pictures in the above auction link for a 50th leaves me with some doubt It was genuine... which I sure as an owner of a 50th you have noticed.
Yes they disappeared into the night like a lot of other landrover stuff D2 facelift headlights are quite popular these days
As for the auction description it sounds good apart from not mentioning the heated front screen and stainless thresholds on the doors , mines one of the 200 gold ones
So if you have anything useful to add please do 👍

Funny how the rumour come up with a thousand 50th discos left the factory, although Land Rover never declared a number on any of the four models of Land Rover that left factory call 50th anniversary.

The colour of the upholstery isn’t Bahama Beige, and yes the the stainless tread plates embossed with Land Rover, all very nice to have but can show scratches if not careful ((I have them on another car I own).

I never got a round to looking at the full spec when i was sitting in new one in LR showroom back in 1998, but noticed that it didn't have cruse control or passenger airbag, options i now believe.

Re my dickish reply.
I am ashamed to say I own an Annivesary model Disco 1 and always thought it was to celebrate something other than the 50 years of LR production. (This is what comes from listening even with half an ear to an indy Landy sales person). But the spec is nice, air con but no sunroof, (brill), flip-flop paint job, (again subtle but nice), etc.

So thanks for putting me right fellow LZers!!!
and my apologies to the OP!;)

Re the ad,
632 is a flat non-metallic and certainly not a flip-flop colour.
There is no drop down step at the rear, which mine has.
Also I couldn't change the number plate so i am not sure LR wanted anyone to have aprivate plate on one, unless a previous woner did just that and the one the DVLA gave him to put back on once he waltzed off with his private number again could not be changed.
I'll see if i can put some pics of mine up so peeps can see the colour. (I'm over 600 miles away from mine!)

As you can see the colour is darker, and yes it DOESN'T have badges on it BUT the V5C says it is an Anniversary model and it does have all the correct trim. Sidestep removed cos it rusted through!
image was taken for SORN insurance.
Here the bluey-green flip-flop paint colour is even more obvious.

so ~I'm pretty sure the other was a ringer or was resprayed in a wrong colour.
Cannot believe the price! I will deffo hang on to mine!

And yes that is my red V8 manual in the background!
