I have just had my beloved landy nicked. It was a totally genuine metallic red 50th anniversary model SWB hard top with all checkerplate silver gear knobs lights etc only 48000 miles.
2 reasons for posting firstly if you are offered one of these very rare models it is fairly likely to be mine i am not sure if it is unique but there cannot be more than a dozen of them if that.
Secondly I have never seen one sold and the only ones I have seen are station wagons which are offered at about twice the going rate of a standard build model has anyone seen one offered or better still auctioned as I am going to have as battle with the insurers on the value
Please would anyone post saightings of these rare models but remeber before accusing anyone of anything underhand there are a fair few look alike models produced by peopler who could not get hold of the real thing.
Mine was S 370 WH but it is unlikely it would be offered under that number again
