I'm after some arch extensions for my 3 door 300tdi disco. I've done some searching and it looks like the flexi arches are the way to go. I've seen that the flatdog arches are well respected, but what about the flexi arches sold by mm-4x4? They sound the same to me from the description but are abit cheaper.

Has anyone tried them?

There's a drop down option to pick the model, but on other products I've seen the extra option to fit with or without side mouldings.

Would be nice to see some in the flesh but they're nowhere near me. Might just pay the extra for flatdog ones.

Where are you? Stick it in your profile. :D

Which ones do you have? I've seen some pictures of yours and they look good. You have side mouldings too don't you?

Me or WLM?

Some of my photos have the 3" arches and some the 2" which are the current ones.

Picked the 3" up from a guy on ebay who purchased but didn't fit them (£100 I think) and the 2" from a guy on LZ who purchased but didn't fit them (£100 I think).

Both sets are Flatdog - very good kit but don't bother asking them questions as the string you along or ignore you. Based on customer service alone they should not be in business.

Sorry should have used the quote button, was referring to you on that one.

Did you find the 3" stick out too much?

I can't find any on eBay at the minute other than the fibreglass and plastic ones. :(

For my tyres (315/70/17) with 30mm spacers the 75mm arches were out a tad too far. Now got 50mm on three corners and when the spacers go on again it should be spot on.

Bizarely, the 75mm arches fit closer to the tyres than the 50mm. I did this drawing a few weeks ago for Disco147 - does it make sense? It's a sectional view of the two sizes.

Whatever you do - don't buy fibreglass!!

Yeh I see what you mean there. I think 3" will be too big for mine, I'm only on 265/75/16 with 30mm spacers.

Try emailing the company for some extra photos..

I fitted 50mm flexi arches bought from paddocks to my 5 door the other week. Running 285/75/16 with a 0 offset they seem to fit well and the wheels sit about right in the arch too
