vrooooooommmmmm :D

i had my lay down, got up, read that, though does he run it staight through with no box and now have come over all perculiar and will have to lay down again!

does it vrooooommmmmm bang bang bang on the dip of the clutch..... oh boy! :p

My V8 90 is a bit like that. Got a large bore TD5 exhaust on it that does naff all to silence a V8 :) Get it above 2500 rpm and it spits and snorts like a good 'un. Always turns heads, particularly that scrote with his pimped up Type R lookalike that can't keep up with me... ;)

uses a box - coz i use it on the road - policeypeeps dont like staight thro - but maybe on the track....
Every track i've been to has maximum noise limits so it probably wouldn't work there either.
The bigger question would be does it shoot flames out of the pipes on over run?

I wasn't suggesting you were one of those SAD C**TS that frequent car parks at night with flame kits and whatever makes them pop and bang. Just enquiring on the tune of your engine.
Watching FIA GT racing at Silverstone a few years ago and trying to get THE pic of a Corvette spewing forth flame from the sidepipe and failing miserably is what pushed me into forking out a grand to buy a camera that could take many frames per second.

It’s a 5l Ford v8 with high torque cam, high comp heads and not much else. It’s quick enough. Although by today’s standards, a lot of modern cars could, most likely, out pace it.
I just grew out of love with it. Age is a terrible thing !!

I did the same thing after 12 months of owning a '98 Lotus Elise. Wasn't sad at all when i span it on diesel leaving work one night and managed to destroy both front and rear clam on two large ornimental lumps of rock on the side of the road. Because i bought it at a very good price from Scotland i actually got paid out a little bit more than what i paid for it when the insurance wrote it off.
