4x4-bigotry petition

Please read my petition on the pm petitions website at the following address: Petition to: Recognise that many vehicles polute, not just a particular kind of vehicle.

The wording is as follows:

We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to Recognise that many vehicles polute, not just a particular kind of vehicle.

It would seem to be a popular myth that all 4x4s are polluting. There is an increasing clamour from bigots to ban some cars simply because they are designed with 'all wheel drive'. In itself a vehicle transmission system can not be bad for the environment. Many 4x4s are capable of extremely good fuel consumption. Also, many other different type of vehicle produce high emissions.

The period of the petition is 7 months, which should bring it into line with the begining of March and the budget.

Petition to: Propose that only pasties containing all cornish indredients and made in Cornwall to be named "Cornish Pasties".

Firstly I don't drive a "4x4", I drive a Land Rover. Secondly does this mean that if I sign this petition I can't be a bigot anymore? I love nothing more than driving around in my Land Rover being a bigot but if I have to choose between one and the other I don't know what I will do
