Hi,
I recently bought a 480w light bar from fleabay, now in my mind it should be drawing 40amps.
480w / 12v = 40amps
My light bar draws 10amps on an amp meter, so I swapped out the 40amp fuse for a 10amp which hasn't blown so far, so I reckon this light is more like 120W (10a x 12v = 120watts)
What are your thought?
and yes I have contacted the seller waiting for his response.

LED lights are often sold with wattage stated as being the equivalent output of incandescent bulbs, not the actual current draw.

Being as LEDs are about 5 times as efficient as normal bulbs, if your unit did actually consume 480w, that would be a similar light output to running 50 headlights!
