4 Bolt Power Steering Box going for free

Hi all,

My 90 has just failed its MOT on a leaking steering box.

I have no spare time to fit new seals so have ordered a recon unit.

If any of you fine people would like a box and have the time and inclination to fit the seals you are welcome to it - it would be a shame to throw it in the skip.

I live in Weston Super Mare, I cannot send it but you are welcome to come and collect it. Alternatively, I spend a lot of time in Worthing, West Sussex, you could pick it up from there.

How much did you pay for a recon unit?

Don't you need to send em your old box back ?

I paid £180 for the recon - they didn't want the old one.

Where was that from Rob? I'm after one at the moment.

They are £189+ vat at Paddocks but they give you £100 back for your old unit!

Wow, I didn't know they gave £100 back, I might have to do that then
