4.6 losing water

Hya v8 buffs,
My 4.6 hse rangerover is losing water , no sign of any leaks runs fine anyone got any ideas ?

has it got hot recently. Could possibly be cracked liners. Quite common on the larger ones.

No it has not gone beyond normal . It is on lpg and runs as sweet as a nut. A mate of mine said it could possibly be the pressure cap !! what do you think , how do you test pressure caps ?

Mines on gas but thats another story. You say there are no external leaks. Is it misting from exhaust pipe. If its not loosing it externally got to be internal..
If its your pressure cap have alook at it while its running and warm just check if its dripping or whether theres any water marks round it.

Your water system will be pressurised dont undo cap when engine hot but stick your ear near it and if its leaking that badly you should hear it.
