4.0 V8 Front crank oilseal

Take the cover off the viscous fan, take the fan off, belt should hold it still, whilst you shock the nut. Then release the serpantine belt. You should then be able to get the bottom pulley bolt out, big bar, will most likely need shocking, pulley should then slide off, bit off tapping might be required.

Be careful off the radiator, the seal can be prized out. It's a pain to do it with the engine in I bet, I have not done it when the engine is in so I may have missed something. EOE.

Try not to get anything behind the seal, the drive for the oil pump is just behind it.
