Hi,
Its my first post here. Its a bit of a strange request but I am stuck and dont know where to get the info from.
I am restoring a 1979 MGB GT and have a complete 4.0 Rover V8 (gems) engine to fit which I purchased from eBay. The questions I have is I am after a wiring diagram for all the sensors ect which is part of the loom. It came with the loom but no ECU. I have been researching on the net and can not find the info for this. I have even purchased the RAVE software to check if this had the wiring info but no joy.
As the car does not have the BEMS I am basically after how to wire the loom up so I can start the car after I get hold of an ECU. I.e. where to all the wires need to go:blabla:
Next question does the ECU need to be chipped to disable the immobiliser as I have read conflicting info that the ECU gets a signal from the BEMS unit to say it can be started.
Any help would be appreciated.
Ps before the taunting starts I did once own an 89 V8 classic Range Rover, excellent car!!!
Regards,
Kevin
