Change the transfer box for the 1.4 ratio defender one.
It's what I'm doing and I'm on 33's.

that doesn't effect low range though
4.1 diffs would correct your gearing in all gears
you can use this to work out ratio's and speeds

If I swap out the transfer case and its still not right for me what vehicle would I get 4.1 axles from...?

It doesn't no. But is a good fix for on the road.
To be fair though the gearing hasn't bother me off road at all.
Anyway it's only a temporary fix for mine until I get lockers later this year. When I'll change the c&p ratio's.

Relatively easy. It's just very heavy. And a little awkward. But can change one on my driveway on my own in half a day.

If you are 10 spline ala D1 200Tdi pre 94 then get a pair of series 4.7 diffs and play away, that brings gearing back to pretty much std.
