i have to buy new tyres for my df 90....i want sikverstone exremes

On a stock version the 33x10,5-15 is ok or just the 31x10,5-15?

31 definitely, 33 probably ...

I run 235 85 16 malatestas and they fit at 32" diameter, give or take.

Mate runs 35 10.50 16 Silverstones and with his lift they also fit, but it does need the lockstops playing with, or as he does, leave the tyres to rub the radius arm and get an inside tyre brake-effect!! Silverstones usually measure up slightly small, so his 35's are actually about 34 1/2 or less ... but I wouldn't bet on every batch being the same, I've been told it's part of the curing/cooling process timings affecting the shrinkage when they're released from the mould .. but I dunno, it sounds plausible, but I think it's possibly bullocks.

Now i have 265/75 16 malatesta kaiman, its fit ok .... some rub in radius arm is but is not a probleme .... 31x10,5 15 is about 265/75 but if 33x10,5 will fit without lifting i buy them

They are what I'm likely to buy later this year ... Silverstone Extreme 33 10.50 16 .. ;)

I like Malatesta, they just don't go quite large enough!!!

You say that 33x10,5-15 are be good? Or if with a 2” lift sure that will be good?

I think they'll be good stock. Mine has a 2" lift. I think lockstops might need adjusting, but that's it!

A lot also depends on the suspension, it it's also stock then OK. If you have better shocks or softer springs, or different A-arm then things might be different, but basically stock should be OK. 2" lift will be OK.

Everything is stock....but now i will change springs and shock (terrafirma pro sport kit)
And if necesery i wil buy plus 2’ ....but if not necesery i will buy normal height....thats why i ask

What is your intended use? How much on to off road?

What engine do you have and what rims?

The Extreme pattern is a good completion tyre. But pretty nice rubbish on the road. And will wear heavily for tarmac use, making them less good off road.

31.10.50 was standard fit in some markets. They will be slightly shorter than a 265 or 235 stock tyre. But will generally perform well. But will give higher cruising rpm.

33’s won’t be 33” tall. But slightly under. But probably still an inch taller than a stock 235 or 265. They will take more effort to pull on the road and may blunt performance. But should cruise at lower rpm.

They should fit. But may rub the wheel spats if they aren’t saggy. They will also put more strain on the axles, so you are more likely to break something.

This car will not be on public roads, i have another car for traveling on roads.....i use the defy for hunting, lot of mud, rocks etc....rims will be 8x15 mangels, till now i used the range rover classic 16 alu rims but now after restoration i will use the 15 inch mangels

these wheels are 265/75 r16 which is equal with 31/10,5 r15.......if 33/10,5 r15 set would be good without modification i would choose better that size

i run the BFG Goodrich mud-terrain km2 they are 255/85R16 or (33.8/10.6 inches) my truck is all stock with no lift and iget no rubbing will need to fit wheel spacers if you plan on using chains on the tyres though

255 85 16 is what I'd call an ideal size .. but no-one does them in the Simex copy extreme tread type!

Not stupidly wide, not stupidly large diameter but with enough sidewall support for flexing well with lower pressure.

In that case I would go for the 33’s.

They should fit no probs.

This is my brother’s 90 running my Simex tyres. The Simex’s are 33.11.50 on 15x10 rims.

Although to be fair to the Simexes they come up big and measure almost 34” tall. And have very wide tread. I believe the Silverstones measure something like 32.7” or around that mark and will look more the width of your current tyres.

I calculate that out to be 33.06 inches, did you actually measure the diameter on the tyre? as we all know, sometimes the given dims are not always the exact tyre size.

Cheers
If memory serves the BFG site said 33.1” they are a nice size. But sadly very limited choice of tread pattern.
