I'm going to be ordering a new vacuum pump for my 110 soon as the ticking
is getting louder and it will fail one day, so I want to have its
replacement ready to go.

As well as the pump I'll need the gasket that goes with it. Does anyone
know the part number of the gasket? If anyone feels like quoting a price
for a pump and gasket go ahead. I've checked Paddocks site for the pump
so far.

Also are there any gotcha's with fitting a new pump, like new hoses being
needed, etc?

Ta.

In Disco parts catalogue it quotes ERR2027. Don't know if this helps.

took me about 15 minutes. 6x 10mm head bolts. A 1/4" drive socket set is
handy for getting in there.

ISTR that the pump I got from Paddocks came with a gasket, BICBW. costy
about 109 quid, buggrit.

Cheers, I should think it's the same as Paddocks list ERR3539 as the pump
for the Disco and the Defender.

I'll have to check with Paddocks before ordering it I guess. The pump is
listed at £108.51.

Can you remember what make the pump was Austin?

I'm also still looking around in the hope that I can find one cheaper, you
never know :)

Wabco, I think. they're crap. but theat's what are fitted. I doubt you'll
get 'em much cheaper, TBH - Paddock, whatver their faults, seem pretty
competitive on price.
