After snappin me cambelt and discovering that the bottom timing gear had not been upgraded :mad::mad:... I need to get hold of an upgrade kit.
Searched paddocks and fleabay , couldnt see anything.Anyone know where to get hold of one thanks ? :D

Is anyone else getting a bit fed up with those pictures of some greasy ghoul and a finger-biting head? I mean it's not clever, and has not a lot to do with LandRovers (has it?) so please can we do without it now we've all seen it? It is literally a waste of space.

PLEASE ????

i think the pics are metaphorical .....

the biting head - isnt that what Land Rovers do EVERY time you work on them?? ive had my fingers bitten by 'things under my bonnet' many a time, and got the scars to prove it!!

greasy ghoul - thats pretty much how i look EVERY time i crawl under my disco, and yes - i do need to fix the 'oil overflow system' (leaky rocker seal).

lets be honest charlesy how much conversation on LZ is actually about land rovers ? And the pictures I have up take up a hell of a lot less space than all the comments I read at the bottom of other peoples profiles.

as you asked me so nicely

Conformist.
Wot were they from any way?

they were from return of the living dead parts 1 and 2. i can put some really big pics up if you want !

perish the thought that I could put a couple of pics of my films of the moment up ! and waste valuble space trying to be clever

Thanks. No offence meant.

I have been working on motorbikes and cars for ..... ???? ..... gosh ... fifty years this year, and I think I can truthfully say I never once did a good job unless I drew blood.

I suppose a bit of blood sacrifice doesn't do a lot of harm.

LandRover seem to have more capability for drawing blood than an average car. Stands to reason I suppose.

By the way, the Pink Fink Series is up for grabs again if anyone wants a project.

Preferred the zombies meself....

no offence mate...just havin a larf..dont want to upset yer either as your a decent source of knowledge !

im currently moving up the blood ladder - vauxhalls are bad and cost me 1mm of skin on my knuckles. my disco has so far cost me a slice on 2 fingers, a sore head after an exhaust bracket wanted to do some brain surgery on me, and oil in my hair. but the winner BY FAR - my boat!! blisters on 4 fingers, splinters, and both knee's cut repeatedly from the bastard prop!! ive worked on the boat for 2 days, give it a week and it'll kill me!!

ps. back on topic - Paddock do the cambelt upgrade kit, think its about £60 for everything
