Don't forget to disconnect the battery first.....
Girlfriends 300Tdi has become increasingly intermittent to start, sometimes takes 4-5 and more turns of the key before the starter will spin over....just a click and nothing.....
As I also have a 300Tdi in my 110, I swapped the two over as my starter is much newer than hers.
Time will tell if it is the starter or the vehicle wiring.
Taking hers off was simple (the one in the vid).....mine was a right sod. Mine is mated to the LT77 box using the 2.5TD flywheel housing, as such my engine sits about 5-6 inches further back meaning the starter bolts are almost under the transmission housing, tucked right up against the bulkhead, with little room between it and the side of the bulkhead where the heater box is....access is awkward and I have a few skinned knuckles to show for it!
