Hi all,

on my 300tdi, the spill pipes are looking a bit ropey so i'm replacing them with new. At the moment, the pipes run - pump-1-2-3-4 but on 4 there is another connector nipple that has nothing on it, should this be blocked off??

The pipe i have coming has two blanknig plugs included so maybe thats what should be there??

As its connected to the pump, would being open do any harm??

Dave

Hi Dave,

Your spill pipes should have a blacking plug on the end of no.4,then 4 is connected to 3,3 is connected to 2, 2 is connected to 1 and then 1 is connected to a T piece in the fuel line connected to the fuel pump.

Hope this helps
