300tdi snorkel through bonnet

Hello everybody

I have a 300tdi Defender with a Paddock snorkel installed. The snorkel is quite resonable for the price, specially if one likes the classic look of steel tubing. How ever, the seal against the bodywork and the over complicated air ducts inside the engine bay annoy me quite a bit.

Have anyone ever tried to put the snorkel running through the bonnet on a LHD 300tdi, like the ones on the Camel Trophy?

Would make opening your bonnet a bit awkward me thinks !!

its hardly complicated……..maybe leave it to a garage if you cant fit the snorkel ?

I guess the guys at Came Trophy never had that problem, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, I think this would make a much more reliable system than the one I have at the present.
