Hi all.
Bought my 300 2 weeks ago and all looked good, thought i would check out the boot floor for rust and there is non, but upon further invest the bloody sills are shot.
So after getting all the carpets and seats and the grey noise carpet out which was soaking wet, there are holes in the floor.

Now after cutting away the bad rust from the outside, i need to know what parts i need.
I have seen the complete sill set and the sill itself but unsure what i need.

I have cut the first horizontal and vertical piece you can see just under the door area, but left the next vertical piece in place before the chassis.

i have found MWC9060 and 9061 which is the sill and STC2815

I dont want to be using box section so need the proper replacement

Any help would be great

What year is it & I'll get the part numbers for you. Do ya need any body mounts or is it just sills. And how bad are they cos you can plate em if they're not too bad.

is the outer sill part number stc2815 box section with a flat plate that fits over the inner?
and does the out hold the door seal in place.
It's really hard to see on the pictures from the shops online
I can't do anything until friday when i get paid, but got to try and do both sides in 2 days....aaarrrhhh i love it

The inner sill fits to the outriggers and forms the support, the outer wraps round from the bottom of that right upto the door and ISTR gives you some of the footwell floor...

Right so as long as the inner is fine, you dont need the outer- but say could use box section to fill the gap. And attach to the B post etc, then use steel sheet to cover the floor up with..

Cheers for the help. On looking at her today i can see how the two parts are put together, just got to go and spend £266 at Rimmers now, well friday cos thats when i get paid..
Also going to buy 2 sheets of 1mm 2Mx1M for £18 each for any patch work and something to play with..

Photos to follow.
