300TDi Rebuild

Hi all....

Killed my engine (bottom end seized) so i;ve got my grubby hands on a newer 90,000 mile unit.

Question is... what extent do i go to rebuilding it before fitting?

I work for LR so price isn't an issue...

I'm thinking...

All belts/tensioners
P gasket
Water pump + Gasket
Head gasket
Spigot ring (my old one was beginning to rattle so i may as well)
Clutch

Anything else worth doing??

Wouldn't bother with head gasket, but I would check the manifold gaskets tho'

I've had 2 300's now, and i've had them both go about 130k... pre emptive strike

And the gasket is only costing £3
