Hi all, today i tried to fine tune the pump on my 300 tdi manual to find that it was as far advanced as it could go on the three bolts in the front cover.Does this mean that the timing belt is a tooth out on the pump and has been adjusted through the front cover to compensate and could i alter the pump timing by one tooth so it gives me some adjustment through the cover? At the moment the disco runs ok but feels a bit flat and has higher fuel consumption than my others.
