Hi all my disco 300tdi has been off the road for a good few months getting the welding done now its finished and back together it won't start it it turns over but wont fire all the welding was on the drivers inner arch could anyone shine some light on the problem please ?? :D

Id work back, check solenoid connector, tis only a spade and can come of easliy if your working round that area, then crack of an injector, is it getting fuel, if not, is the solenoid getting 12V, if so, change the filter (fill it with fresh fuel)
check lift pump, these seize/fall apart at will.

if these all check out ok, id be suspecting a fuel line blockage

Is not getting 12v to the solenoid and glow plugs ain't working either

check the maxi fuses in the fuse box on the o/s of the engine bay, fuse for glows is in there IIRC.
stick a 12V feed straight to the solenoid and see if will start then, a 300tdi doesn't need glows in this weather, will smoke a bit to start with, but it will start fine.

check the earth strap on the engine, im guessing its not this if its turning over tho, but worth checking
