300tdi into 90

Hi all my first time on the forum, My disco 300tdi has died a rusty death so ive bought a tidy 90 turbo with the idea of transplanting the 300tdi into it, any advice before i start would be most welcome........

This should give you a good starting point. Obviously 200tdi instead of 300tdi, but essentially the same process:

Thanks guys, some great info on here this is going to be my long term vehicle so want to get it right, think im going to go for the engine and gearbox conversion, can anyone advise me on the best place to buy the bits i will need i.e pas pipes, hoses etc. This Saturday is D day to start the project.

There are plenty of other parts suppliers, but I prefer lrdirect because they allow you to choose the part manufacturer and, more importantly, allow you to avoid buying Britpart parts!

Found some great info and advise on here, conversion now complete, but have encountered a problem ign light doesn't come on, anyone got any thoughts on what the prob might be ?
