Morning Just had my injectors tested 3 are blocked the place in question are offering 2 options
1. Have them cleaned in a ultrasonic machine for £27 each but no guarantee to unblock holes
2. 4 new nozzles at £56 each and be like new injectors .

I have watched a video we’re you can steep them in petrol over night and take a part and clean and unblock the holes using a fine single wire off a wire brush ?

what would yous do thanks or what do yous do with yours cheers

Is the car not running? Or, are they making it sound worse than it is? You could try putting Redex or similar in your fuel if it is running ok.
If not, I'd get new nozzles and have the injectors set up and tested again. Are they saying that for £56 each they are replacing the nozzles and recalibrating them?
My No4 injector developed a fault a few years ago. That cylinder began to run lean which means it gets too hot. It melted the top of the piston which scored the bore, which carped the engine. Full engine rebuild needed. I might have been unlucky, but be careful.

When my injectors reached their service interval, I fitted service exchange injectors from this place:-

What a flippin difference - noticeably quieter with more power and uses less fuel, and produces less smoke - even the MOT test machine noticed the difference.....

SWMBO's 300 is ready for the same treatment  .... and will get it anorl :)

When Al203's #4 failed - I looked up the service interval - cos his experience made me nervous ... I'd actually done 110K on a 100K item   ..... so they got changed :)

Thanks for the input lads I have just stripped them down and cleaned them up and refitted with new copper washers both injector seals and leak off banjos , this seem to be working nice at the min but time will tell a think for the price once I sort other issues a recon set will be happening thanks
