Hello

I have the engine r380 gearbox and the series transfer case all nicely lined up but have just realised that the front prop will touch the corner of the sump. I have spoken to a propshaft company who will make a thinner prop but it will still only miss the corner of the sump by about 15mm or so - am I missing something here -
Thanks

On a 109 I had around 20 yrs ago the sump on the diahatsu 2.5D fitted was cut and shut to clear the prop.
Just thinking outside the box...

I thought the 300tdi fitted OK. Try googling some photos of conversions to see if there's any clues.

I thought the 300tdi would be okay too - some photos on google show a skinny prop but do not say where from...
Could do a bit of sump bashing but the prop actually touches the corner of where the engine mount strengthening joins the
engine bellhousing area.
An extra thin prop from a specialist company would work but thought I would check to see if I was missing something.
The prop would still be close to the sump but then how much time would I spend in four wheel drive.

Unless you have free wheel hubs prop turns even when not in 4wd.
I think others have raised the engine with spacers under engine mountings.

Ah, I can still raise the engine at the moment (mounts are just tack welded) but not too sure how much difference that would make owing to the angle -
suppose I could also raise the transfer case mounts slightly -
