Can someone tell me if the expansion bottle on a 300Tdi Defender is the same as a Disco? Can someone post a photo of it in position?

esr63 on both, superceeded by pcf101590 on the defender (possibly the disco too - i dont know the difference between the part numbers)

paddocks lists the same part for both -

Did the same search but didn't see any clear views on the bottle and where the lower mount goes. Cheers

Go for a white expansion tank. The black ones have a nasty habit of cracking at the seam and countless engines have died undignified deaths because of this.

I have a spare almost new white one. I thought mine was split so I bought a new one, fitted it and ran round for a week. The problem turned out to be the radiator. I took the new one including top off and put them in a box. Happy to part with them.
