Hey,

Ive lost all heart in Land Rovers at the minute and this one isnt getting used for anything I intended for.

Pics on request please guys, as my phone wont let me upload.

Its got Mot until September I think it is, as it had 12 month when I bought it, and Tax until about March.

Now, the chassis is solid! Now signs of Rot at all, bit or surface rust, but thats about it. The only thing it needs is a plate on drivers side off-rigger. That has a bit of rot in it, and was an advisory on the last MOT as well as the ratchet on the handbrake, but I have on that you can have with it.

Engine/Gearbox both are sound, pulls well through all gears with no problem at all.

Has got the winter pack installed (Ice symbol button inside...) but needs a passenger side headlight washer

Has tired grey leather interior, and head lining has sagged by the rear door. Ive only noticed a leak on one corner of the front sunroof. Will include rubber mats and a Discovery Bootliner.

Could do with 3 or 4 door pin springs, Drivers door and boot door are more noticeable than the others.

Theres an issue with the dash lights etc that I cant/dont have the time for. Ive put a newer set of clocks in with a higher mileage than what came with it, purely so I could see the speedo.

Body work is really straight, with only a few blemishes here and there. It has had a plate on the boot floor already and no other signs of rot in there. Also had the rear arches (where the rear doors are) done fairly recently by the looks of it.

To be fair its a great truck and as im writing this im thinking of keeping it, but I need it gone unfortunately.

So...in all its got the base to be an awesome truck, with someone who has time to fettle the inside as the troublesome areas are spot on.

Ill listen to offers on her, not daft ones but I got her at a good price, so as long as I break even im a happy man.

Text me on 07545126103 anytime, just dont call during office hours.

Cheers :(

Well, im looking over £1000 but not over £1500, so will listen in between there :) and not £1001 before anyone says it.

Forgot to mention it has AT tryres on the rear, and practically new tyres on the front, and has had discs and pads all round quite recently too

Ive got my eye on a 2001 Freelander ES, 73,000 miles, for £1490!!
What do you guys reckon?

I dont believe it.... there is no way on earth thats true...

No one would accept a freelander for only £1490.... It would take at least 5k for me to have one :) :boink:

Ive not put her on eBay because I want a genuine Land Rover enthusiast to have her...im making it sound like shes a bloody dog hahaha.
If you have any questins etc please pm me, email me on [email protected] or text 07545126103 during business hours or feel free to ring after 5pm.
Cheers

Still here...please remember there is a couple of niggly bits, interior lights etc, that don't work but it's nowt major.

Due to the rain being so bad up here I'm sealing the sunroofs up tomorrow, so bare that in mind also

Cheers
