Can't seem to work out this bit, i've looked at common faults bit and looked all over here, can't seem to explain it all properly.

Ok, i've blanked the EGR off already, job done(i don't wanna completely remove the EGR just incase) , but wanna put a new pipe in between the intercooler top and engine bit, as the pipe on now splits to the EGR and engine, which i see is a waste. Found a pipe on ebay from a shop, says use this to replace this hose (i don't wanna completely remove the EGR just incase).

But i wanna put silicone ones on, it seems to me that i could use a 200tdi kit instead? Maybe? Or are they the same, and i'm barking up the wrong tree. Wanna clean my intercooler out and might as well do all this at the same time.
And maybe fit a kenlowe too. Might as well seeing as it's all open

1. To replace the EGR pipework which goes between the EGR valve and the intercooler/inlet manifold pipe you need a direct intercooler to inlet manifold pipe. These are identical to the Tdi 200 inlet pipe, why silicone hoses? all you need is a rubber Tdi 200 one costs about £7;
2. Re viscous/electric fan fans, de-install the viscous one and keep it in the boot. Unless you are stuck in traffic alot or do lots of slow hard offroading you won't need an electric fan imo.

Silicone cos of the less swelling ability, might as well, see if they make a difference.

And my town centre's gonna get ripped up soon so LOTS of traffic waiting for 5 years lol.
