Trying to get the bulkhead out.

Ive removed the electrical stuff, the bit of trim along the top, with the screen vents in it, and im left with the grey bit of plastic that covers the thin flat plate, and then the triangular lower section.

I reckon i need to take out the bit of plastic, and then the sheet behind it, then the lower heater duct bit (the bit that's covered with vinyl)

Is this the right way?

Id have thought there would be hundreds of tutorials on this, but ive yet to find one.

Sounds right from memory.
I found the bits you are removing don't just drop into place, the plastic needs a firm hand and a bit of jiggery-pokery to remove and replace. Take the opportunity to strip out the heater duct (lower dash) and oil up the flap pivots, derust and replace the flap and lid foam too.
