300tdi dash problems

I am having problems with the dashboard in my 300tdi. Its p reg and the speedo and dials work, so too does the engine and coil lights, indicators and high beam lights. Whats not working is the following
heated rear switch
fog light switch
rear window wiper
dial illumination - This goes for heater disls too
and maybe not connected but the front intermittent wiper all over controls work.

I have cheched fuses they seam fine in numbers correct with sticker on cover. Any help gratefully recieved as at a lose now.

A 300tdi what? I assume not a defender as it has no heater control lighting!

It is a discovery 300 tdi.

Have you got a Haynes manual ...

they have a use ... they tell you how to pull the heater knobs off and where the bulbs live

most of the switches have bulbs in them that only work when their in use ...
