Thanks for pic, mine has the wavey ones . So is it just a case of cutting off and replacing with longer hose then tightening on jubilee clips, or is that just wishful thinking ??

Yes, the standard 300tdi Defender / Discovery bottom radiator pipe has enough free play to fit easily, even though the engine is 6" further back than standard.
The section of the lower intercooler pipe you have arrowed is where I added an extra section.

One thing I'll add, w.e you do with the oil cooler pipes, make sure you get the clamp that holds them together, even more important when there longer

Yes got the clamp. Ive read somewhere that the bottom cooer pipe fits, and that a 2.5na top fits without extending, not sure if its true.

Just to be sure In first pic are 1 and 2 where the 2 oil Cooler pipes go in to, as there is another smaller diameter hole on other side arrowed, that Im sure oil was coming out when I started engine up for a few seconds, second pic. i

The first pic are where the the oil cooler pipes go, not sure what the hole in the second pic is, but it is next to the oil pressure sender / sensor/ switch. Is it possible that an oil pressure gauge has been fitted in the past and the pipe plumbed in the small hole.

Just googled defender 300tdi oil pressure gauge and it looks like they go in the same hole that the sender goes in to, Im sure that this spare hole on mine is threaded and oil was coming out, will have to take a closer look tomorrow, or has anyone else got the same hole ??

think Ive got all the hoses sorted, got new bottom hose and will fit easily, Found this today in my shed of parts in first pic it looks like the original pipe, just needs a bit of longer rubber at cooler end, also found a pipe to fit top rad too.
